CanSino Biologics-B Grants Aeira Exclusive License For Southeast Asia, Central Asia

CanSino Biologics-B (02162) said it has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Aeira Pte. Ltd. for the registration and commercialization of its independently developed IL-4Rα-targeting monoclonal antibody injection, marketed as Kangyueda, in Southeast Asia and Central Asia. The company will receive an upfront payment, milestone payments tied to regulatory approvals in different countries and commercialization milestones, and royalties at a high double-digit rate based on net sales in the licensed territories, according to ETNet. Aeira will handle registration filings and commercialization in 18 countries and regions, including 11 Southeast Asian countries, five Central Asian countries, Hong Kong and Macau, while CanSino Biologics-B will continue to manufacture and supply the product.
