China Health Technology Group Receives Request To Call EGM Over Board Changes

China Health Technology Group (01069) said it received a notice from Lin Yudan yesterday requesting an extraordinary general meeting to vote on removing six directors and appointing four new directors, according to ETNet. The company said the board is seeking professional advice to determine whether the purported request procedure complies with the rules and to decide on appropriate action. The proposed resolutions would remove executive directors Bi Xue, Leung Ka-wai and Wong Hoi-ying, and independent non-executive directors Chow Wing-nam, Lau Suk-wah and Li Leung-kit. They would also appoint Tse Tung-leung and Yeung Lam-lam as executive directors, and Lo Ting-chuk and Siwanat Saymaya as independent non-executive directors.
