Shein (00625) fell 9.7% to HK$41.54, while Mech-Mind Robotics (09615) dropped 11.4% to HK$87.05, according to ETNet.
Hang Seng Indexes said Shein meets the fast-entry requirements for the Hang Seng Composite Index and will be added to the relevant indexes and sub-indexes after the close on September 14, 2026, with effect from September 15, 2026. The inclusion means the stock has a high chance of being added to Stock Connect, but the news did not lift the share price.
Shein is now 14.5% below its IPO price of HK$48.56. Based on a board lot of 100 shares and excluding fees, holders would be down HK$702 per lot. Mech-Mind Robotics, which was priced at the top of its offer range after being oversubscribed about 3,834.36 times, is now 14.4% below its offer price of HK$101.7. Based on a board lot of 30 shares and excluding fees, the paper loss is HK$439.5 per lot.
The Hang Seng Index was down 66 points, or 0.3%, at 25,244. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index fell 52 points, or 0.6%, to 8,397, while the Hang Seng Tech Index dropped 34 points, or 0.8%, to 4,483. Main-board turnover was nearly HK$145.3 billion.
