According to PeckShield monitoring data, a total of 24 breaches occurred in January 2023 resulting in the theft of US$8.8 million in funds, a decrease of 92.7% from US$121 million in December 2022. As of January 31, approximately $2.6 million worth of stolen funds (approximately 2668 BNB and 1200 ETH) had been transferred to mixers (TornadoCash, Fixedfloat, sideshift, etc.).
