The Korean Customs Service released the report "Measures and Trends to Combat Drug Smuggling in 2022", which will establish an all-round combat system covering all areas of customs management to block drug imports from the source. Specific measures include four aspects: strengthening customs inspections, expanding law enforcement infrastructure, stimulating domestic and foreign cooperation, and improving investigative capabilities. Among them, in terms of improving investigative capabilities, a temporary organization for drug evidence collection was established at Incheon Customs, and a temporary organization for online monitoring was operated to combat the abuse of virtual assets and underground networks, and will also expand specialized training in areas such as scientific search equipment, underground networks/online monitoring, virtual asset tracking, international cooperation, and confiscation of proceeds of crime. the
