Bloomberg: DBS Digital Exchange DBS sees 80% increase in Bitcoin transaction volume in 2022

DBS Group Holdings Ltd. reported that the volume of bitcoin traded on DBS’s digital exchange DBS surged 80% last year, while the number of escrows as of Dec. 31 more than doubled from a year earlier, according to Bloomberg. DBS said it was a beneficiary of safe-haven assets amid market volatility. Efforts around security token offerings have been put on hold in light of market volatility and macroeconomic uncertainty, but DBS will work hard to secure high-quality STO listings in 2023, said DBS CEO Lionel Lim.
