Infinity Exchange Receives Investment from Nomura's Digital Asset Subsidiary Laser Digital

According to CoinDesk, Infinity Exchange, a DeFi market for institutions, has received investment from Laser Digital, a digital asset subsidiary of Nomura Securities, for an undisclosed amount. Infiniti is a hybrid lending platform that combines blockchain-based permissionless settlement with traditional financial processes and risk management. Founded by former Morgan Stanley employees, the protocol focuses on providing institutional investors with fixed and floating rate markets, among other things. Foresight News previously reported that Infinity Exchange announced the completion of a $4.2 million seed round in September 2022, with participation from GSR Markets, Coin Merge Strategy, C² Ventures, SIG DT Investments, Flow Traders, Mentha Partners and individual investor Bob Lockwood wait.
