Platypus Finance, the Avalanche chain stablecoin trading project that suffered a $9.1 million hack earlier this month, said French police had arrested two hackers suspected of attacking its protocol. Platypus said it worked with on-chain analyst ZachXBT and cryptocurrency exchange Binance to trace the identity of the attacker. Foresight News previously reported that Platypus was hit by three separate attacks in mid-February, causing a total of $9.19 million in damage. Afterwards, BlockSec discovered a loophole in the attacker's contract and helped him transfer back $2.4 million. In addition, with the help of its issuer, $1.5 million in stolen USDT was frozen.
