Australian company Immutable, the developer of Immutable X, is attempting to sell IMX tokens on the private market through a Cayman Islands entity linked to Immutable founder James Ferguson, AFR reported. In response, a spokesperson for Immutable stated that the entity, the Digital Worlds Foundation and its subsidiaries, are separate entities (one of which is the issuer of the IMX token) and not part of the Immutable Group. Immutable maintains that James Ferguson served the entity in a personal capacity. In February, the Sydney Morning Herald reported that Australian company Immutable (the company behind Immutable X) was laying off 11% of its workforce.
