According to The Block, due to the closure of Signature Bank, encrypted payment service and business account provider BCB Group suspended the US dollar payment plan. Earlier, shortly after the suspension of Silvergate Bank's Silvergate Exchange Network, BCB Group founder and CEO Oliver von Landsberg-Sadie said the company would launch a U.S. dollar payments tool to fill the void. Already 6 clients were ready to test the system and the first instant USD transaction was executed on March 10. But BCB Group is relying on Signature Bank to power the plan, and it will use Signature Bank for "transaction settlement and USD payment accounts." BCB Group is suspending its USD payment program due to the closure of Signature Bank, while payment products in other currencies continue as usual and hope to provide continuity to customers with three new US banking relationships that will go live soon.
