Four of BlockTower Capital's private equity funds used Signature Bank and Silvergate Bank as asset custodians

Citing regulatory filings, CoinDesk reported that four private equity funds of crypto asset manager BlockTower Capital had used Signature Bank and Silvergate Bank as asset custodians, with total assets worth about $940 million. According to the ADV application form on May 11, 2022, the total asset value of the BlockTower Blue Signum SPV fund at the time of application submission was approximately US$4.6 million, using Silvergate Bank as its sole custodian; the total asset value of the BlockTower DeFi SPV I fund was US$74.6 million USD, also uses Silvergate Bank as its sole custodian; while the BlockTower Gamma Point Master Fund, with total assets valued at $89 million, uses Signature Bank as its custodian; the BlockTower Capital Partners Master Fund (total assets, $770.5 million) is the most diversified , which lists five custodians: Silvergate, Signature Bank, Anchorage Digital and Coinbase’s Trust Services, and Celadon Financial Group.
