SpankPay Shuts Down Its Crypto Payment Processor After Upstream Payment Processor Wyre Terminates Agreement With It

Adult-themed crypto payment processor SpankPay announced its decision to shut down the project after its upstream payment processor Wyre Payments terminated its agreement with the company. SpankPay said that other service providers it explored later also rejected SpankPay because it was in the adult industry. SpankPay stated that it will return user assets as soon as possible. In February, SpankPay announced an indefinite suspension of SpankPay payments, which it attributed to Wyre's targeted closure of its accounts.
