Celsius may have to pay $144 million in attorneys and consultants

Software developer Cam Crews tweeted that the bankrupt encrypted lending platform Celsius needs to pay lawyers and consultants expected to reach 144 million U.S. dollars, and has submitted nearly 102 million U.S. dollars in fee applications to the court. The estimated cost to pay and file is about $42 million, of which law firm Kirkland will be billed $31 million in 2022 alone.
