Crypto lending platform Celsius Network is suing crypto custodian Prime Trust for the return of $17 million worth of crypto assets, CoinDesk reported. This lawsuit stems from an asset dispute related to the income products of both parties. Celsius said that when the two parties terminated the agreement in June 2021, Prime Trust held these assets and returned $119 million of them to Celsius, but Prime Trust refused to fulfill its obligation to transfer $17 million worth of cryptocurrencies, including 398 BTC, 196,268 CEL tokens, 3,740 ETH, and 2.2 million USDC. Celsius alleges that under Section 542 of the Bankruptcy Code, Prime Trust is obligated to deliver to Celsius all property owned by Prime Trust belonging to Celsius, including these remaining encrypted assets. Prime Trust did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Tuesday.
