In one instance this week, a meme coin project called TOWELIE was accused of being a Rug Pull scam. Someone offered a reward of 580 ARKM (equivalent to about $324) on the Arkham platform to identify their supporters.
TOWELIE has been keeping a low profile. There are no official social media accounts on either X or Discord. A message was sent to the project's address via Blockscan Chat asking if they were doing a "Rug Pull," but there was no immediate response.
Other rewards include identifying the person or entity who stole approximately $415 million in cryptocurrency from the platform during the FTX crash, and identifying the owner of the address that attacked Wintermute and caused approximately $160 million in losses. (CoinDesk)
This follows news on July 25 that Arkham Intel Exchange approved its first-ever bounty hunt after two crypto detectives uncovered evidence of an encrypted wallet belonging to Do Kwon.
The platform posted a bounty for more information on the former Terraform Labs CEO and current international fugitive. An anonymous blockchain detective and a detective using the pseudonym ErgoBTC won 9,519.26 ARKM, worth about $4,950.
