Odaily Planet Daily News Near Foundation has cooperated with Columbia Web3 social network Blumer to provide token infrastructure.
Blumer started using the Near protocol to host the reward tokens its users earn when they watch ads on the platform, and users will be able to convert the tokens to other cryptocurrencies or send them to wallets using the Near blockchain.
In addition to making money on the platform by consuming ads, Blumer users can sell NFTs or trade in cryptocurrencies, the Near Foundation said in a statement.
According to Blumer CEO Ernesto Ruiz, the platform currently has 790,000 users, with Colombia having the most users, followed by Mexico and Venezuela. Users using Blumer earn an average of $7 a month, he added. (CoinDesk)
