Odaily Planet Daily News CoinsPaid started processing transactions again after the service was interrupted due to a cyber attack on July 22. The company said it suspected the North Korean hacking group Lazarus Group had planned the attack.
According to CoinsPaid, customer funds are safe, but the company's revenue has been affected. Other projects previously attacked by Lazarus include: Sony ($81 million), Axie Infinity ($625 million), Horizon Bridge ($100 million), Atomic Wallet ($100 million) and Alphapo ($60 million) .
In a few weeks, CoinsPaid will organize a roundtable with all Lazarus victims to announce a new initiative to minimize and prevent future attacks of this kind. (The Block)
