Data: Around 16% of U.S. Adults Invest, Trade, and Use Cryptocurrencies

Pew Research Center (Pew Research Center) survey data shows that about 16% of American adults invest in, trade and use cryptocurrencies, but almost half of US cryptocurrency investors say that cryptocurrencies are performing worse than they expected. Fifteen percent said their investments performed better than expected, 46% said their investments performed worse than they expected, and 31% said it had something to do with their expectations. Additionally, roughly one in five black, Hispanic or Asian Americans invest in, trade or use cryptocurrencies, compared to 13 percent of white Americans.
