Odaily Planet Daily News Singapore blockchain game company Digital Entertainment Asset (DEA) announced the completion of a new round of financing, with the participation of KDDI Open Innovation Fund III, a subsidiary of Tokyo-based investment fund Global Brain Corporation (KDDI).
This round of financing will be used to integrate related games into KDDI's "αU" metaverse, provide gamers with an immersive experience that combines real and virtual worlds, and seek more Web3 business partnerships.
It is reported that DEA currently operates a game platform based on the PlayMining brand, an NFT market and metaverse projects, and has released 6 P&E chain games, including Job Tribes and Menya Dragon Ramen. (Globenewswire)
According to previous reports, in January 2022, DEA completed a US$12 million seed round of financing, led by JAFCO Investment Ltd. and participated by Spartan Group and others.
In December 2022, the DEA announced that it had received a $10 million investment from LDA Capital, a Los Angeles-based alternative investment group. DEA will use financing funds to accelerate the construction of P2E NFT games and expand strategic partners.
