Odaily Planet Daily News Circle Chief Strategy Officer Dante Disparte called for stable currency legislation in the United States in an interview.
Dante Disparte said U.S. bank failures earlier this year had led investors into "unsafe, opaque" cryptocurrencies overseas, and called on federal regulators to legislate around stablecoins because their value should align with the U.S. dollar. It is possible for anyone, anywhere to use cryptographic methods to counterfeit dollars, so a set of rules should be developed to regulate those insecure dollar stablecoins on the Internet and respect the safety, soundness and monetary policy of the United States.
