Microsoft will cryptographically sign AI-generated images, Bing will be the default search engine for ChatGPT

According to Sina Finance, at Microsoft's "Build 2023 Developer Conference", the company announced that it will add a feature in the next few months that will allow everyone to identify whether images or video clips generated by Bing Image Creator and Microsoft Designer are is generated by AI. The technology uses cryptographic methods to tag and sign AI-generated content, along with metadata information about its origin, Microsoft said. Microsoft says the feature will work with the "major image and video formats" supported by its two AI content generation programs, but didn't announce which formats it supports. In addition, Microsoft announced that Bing will become the default search engine for ChatGPT, Microsoft will work with OpenAI to create a ChatGPT plug-in ecosystem, and integrate Copilot in Windows 11.
