Odaily Planet Daily News Bitcoin mining company and data center company Genesis Digital Assets (GDA) opened a new data center in Sweden. The site is located in the northernmost part of Sweden, where the power grid is mainly hydroelectric power, and the new data center is located Near the Porjus hydroelectric power station.
Abdumalik Mirakhmedov, executive president and founder of GDA, said the data center has a total capacity of about 8 MW and is expected to have a hash rate of about 155 PH/s. GDA’s Porjus data center deployed 1,900 bitcoin mining machines. (Cointelegraph)
Earlier in early August, GDA added three new data centers for bitcoin mining in western South Carolina, using renewable energy to power them. It is reported that GDA already has 20 mines in North America, Europe and Central Asia, with a total power generation capacity of more than 400 MW.
