HOPE Founder Flex Yang: Crypto Can Be an Important Alternative for Payment, Reserve and Settlement

HOPE founder Flex Yang said at the Asian Vision Forum that Crypto can become a significant alternative for payments, reserves and settlements, although it is still in its early stages and active users are still a minority compared to the global population. According to Flex Yang, just like the history of email development, crypto needs to enhance usability to make it acceptable to everyone. The Asia Vision Forum was held in Singapore on June 12. Singapore Deputy Prime Minister Wang Ruijie, former US Secretary of the Treasury Lawrence Summers, Singapore Minister of Trade and Industry Gan Jinyong, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology of Laos Santisouk Simmalavong, former German Deputy Chancellor Philipp Rosler and others attended. Flex Yang delivered a speech and participated in roundtable discussions on topics such as international currency competition, shifting US dollar dominance, and RMB internationalization.
