Adidas to launch token-gated sneakers tied to limited-edition NFTs

Adidas announced that adidas Originals has reached a partnership with the artist "FEWOCiOUS". The two parties will cooperate to launch a limited edition Trefoil Flower Mint Pass NFT. The NFT will be launched on June 22, and holders will have the opportunity to redeem adidas Originals physical sneakers. This is also the first time that Adidas has launched a token-gated sneaker bound with a limited edition NFT with an NFC tag. FEWOCiOUS x FewoWorld: Holders of the Paint NFT and ALTS holders of the adidas 'Decos' and 'Soles' [ALT]er Ego NFTs will receive a range of benefits including discounted pricing and early access to the NFT on the OpenSea platform.
