Odaily Planet Daily News According to documents disclosed by Magic Book founder Jake Browatzke on the X platform, Gala Games founder and CEO Eric Schiermeyer and co-founder Write Thurston have filed lawsuits against each other.
According to the document, Eric Schiermeyer accused Write Thurston and the holding investment vehicle True North of stealing 8,645,014,077 GALA from Gala Games, and allegedly transferred and sold about $130 million in stolen GALA tokens. In addition, Eric Schiermeyer also stated that Write Thurston Stealing the license to operate a "node" on the Gala ecosystem, selling it to others for profit, and manipulating the node to earn GALA tokens. Eric Schiermeyer petitioned the court for judgment against Thurston and True North and for the court to order the defendant to return the stolen GALA and any proceeds from the exchange or sale of the stolen GALA; Proceeds obtained in exchange for license theft; removal of Thurston's directorship and compensation for all litigation and legal expenses.
And Write Thurston accused Eric Schiermeyer of destroying more than $600 million worth of GALA tokens belonging to his shareholders and others in the Gala community without the knowledge or approval of the board of directors or shareholders, and converting company assets for personal use, At the same time keep a large amount of GALA tokens for personal use. True North, as a shareholder and representative of BGP, seeks damages from Schiermeyer and requests the court to order the return of all profits, interests and other compensation that Schiermeyer received as a result of his misconduct and breach of trust.
Note: On or about January 1, 2019, True North and Schiermeyer created BGP and "several affiliated companies and entities" (collectively, the "BGP Companies"), with its principal place of business in Jackson, Wyoming, under the name "Gala Games" Conducting business; True North is a shareholder in BGP with a 40.927% stake.
