Belgium’s Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) ordered Binance to immediately stop offering crypto services in Belgium, CoinDesk reported. According to the FSMA examination, Binance violated the ban by “providing exchange services between virtual currency and fiat currency in Belgium, as well as hosting wallet services in non-EEA member states.” A Binance spokesperson said, “We are disappointed to learn that despite our ongoing dialogue, the FSMA has made this decision. We are reviewing the details of their notification and will continue to comply with regulators in Belgium and around the world. our obligation".
