zkSync has started the mainnet upgrade plan for numbers, timestamps and hash values

Odaily Planet Daily News zkSync announced that it has upgraded the behavior of block.number, block.timestamp and blockhash on zkSync Era at 10:00 today (UTC time). After the upgrade, block.number, block.timestamp and blockhash will be changed respectively. Returns the number, timestamp and hash of the L2 block. The upgrade is expected to last 40-60 days, during which the block production rate and timestamp refresh time will gradually increase. zkSync reminds its ecosystem developers that if the project has critical logic that relies on block.number, block.timestamp and blockhash return values, it may face unexpected behavior (such as shortened governance voting time, reward surge, etc.).
