Mysten Labs R&D Team Hires Next Generation Internet Architecture SCION Founder and Some of His Team Members

The Mysten Labs R&D team hired ETH Zurich professor Adrian Perrig as a consultant. Additionally, Adrian Perrig will be joined by researchers with backgrounds in network/system security such as Markus Legner, Jean-Pierre Smith, and Giacomo Giuliari. Karl Wüst, who previously held a teaching position at the CISPA Helmholtz Center, also joined the team as a research scientist. Adrian Perrig is also the founder and active designer of SCION, the next generation internet architecture. SCION solves many security and scalability problems of the current Internet. Inside Mysten Labs, they will be contributing to an unnamed project of Sui Infrastructure.
