The Beefy Finance community, a multi-chain revenue optimization protocol, is voting on the "BIFI Migration" proposal. The vote was launched on July 12, and the support rate is now 99.67%. It will end on July 15. It claims that Multichain has suffered a series of serious failures over the past two months, including the transfer of 18,690 BIFI tokens from the Multichain router to another wallet controlled by Multichain without Beefy's prior knowledge or consent. This leaves bridged BIFI tokens (i.e. tokens not on the BNB chain) lacking support. Subsequently, Beefy's core team sought details from Multichain. Although Multichain has confirmed that the recipient wallet is the Multichain wallet, it has not yet confirmed whether the wallet is currently under the control of its team, but it has not provided any further background information or assurances on the nature of this operation. As a result, Core now supports full, immediate migration from Multichain. Currently, the full details of the migration plan are still being finalized, and if the proposal is supported, a binding proposal and vote will take place. The team suggested that BIFI be redeployed as a new token and distributed to each holder of BIFI on the chain; the cross-chain bridge process should be completely redesigned, and the native BIFI token will be controlled by Beefy DAO; it is recommended to redesign the current BIFI governance pool.
