Odaily Planet Daily News Bitcoin infrastructure platform ZeroSync plans to build a light client based on zero-knowledge proof for the Bitcoin network.
Robin Linus, ZeroSync project leader, said that in the short term, this light client may allow users to run Bitcoin full nodes on their phones. But its roadmap includes the Bitcoin on-chain Layer 2 protocol, which can introduce tokens (such as stablecoins) into the Bitcoin network and increase network throughput to 20 to 50 times the current level without performing a fork.
It is reported that ZeroSync received funding from Geometry Research in 2022, received funding from StarkWare earlier this year, and has since established a foundation. (Blockworks)
