South Korea's Sejong Law Firm establishes virtual asset investigation and response center

Odaily Planet Daily reported that Sejong Law Firm in South Korea established a virtual asset investigation and response center to strategically respond to virtual asset crimes. The center is composed of about 30 experts in the field of virtual assets and financial securities crime investigation, including personnel from investigative agencies such as prosecutors and police, financial authorities such as the Financial Services Commission, the Financial Supervisory Service and the Korea Exchange, and courts. The person in charge of the center is Lee Jung-hwan (transliteration), who served as the former deputy prosecutor of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutor’s Office, the legal advisor of the Financial Services Commission, and the director of the Financial Tax Investigation Division of the Central District Prosecutor’s Office.
