U.S. Representative: Gary Gensler will become the first SEC chairman to receive a subpoena if he continues to ignore regulatory requests

Odaily Planet Daily News Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett posted on the X platform that Patrick McHenry, chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Financial Services Committee, criticized U.S. SEC Chairman Gary Gensler for his lack of response to regulatory requests. Patrick McHenry said: "You (referring to the SEC) have done nothing to address the legitimate concerns of both parties. This is shameful. Our patience is running out." McHenry threatened Gensler with a subpoena if it continued to ignore regulatory requests. "I don't think you want to be the first SEC chairman to receive a subpoena from Congress," McHenry noted.
