Conic Finance Shuts Down All Omnipools Deposit Services After Second Attack

Conic Finance tweeted, "All Omnipools deposit services are closed. Users can still withdraw funds. We are assessing the situation and will provide updates as soon as they become available." Conic Finance was alerted in the early hours of the morning about a vulnerability affecting crvUSD Omnipool. Conic Finance said, “The second attack has nothing to do with the ETH Omnipool reentrancy vulnerability. The attackers made a profit of about $300,000 by using crvUSD Omnipool.” Foresight News previously reported that according to Beosin’s monitoring, Conic Finance was attacked yesterday and lost about $3.2 million. Purpose-built for liquidity providers, Conic Finance allows users to provide liquidity to the Conic Omnipool, which distributes funds on Curve in proportion to pool weights controlled by the protocol.
