Odaily Planet Daily News Paima received a $1.4 million grant from Cardano and has open sourced the code on Github.
Paima is a Layer 2 network for blockchain games. The product also supports the migration of games on other networks to Cardano, allowing users of these networks to play Cardano-based games without moving assets.
There are already multiple game projects built with Paima, including the EVM chain, Cardano chain, etc.
Paima claims that all games on the network are non-custodial, meaning funds remain in users’ wallets and do not have to be transferred to the game’s wallet, reducing security risks. (CoinDesk)
