WisdomTree CEO Jonathan Steinberg announced on Friday plans to add a range of digital funds to its “blockchain-enabled” consumer app by the end of the year.
WisdomTree launched WisdomTree Prime in July, providing access to nine digital funds (share ownership records are kept on the Stellar or Ethereum chains) as well as U.S. dollar and gold tokens, Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Jonathan Steinberg said the company plans to add a money market fund to WisdomTree Prime and plans to offer three WisdomTree Siegel-branded digital funds. WisdomTree will add more features in the coming quarters, such as debit card connectivity and peer-to-peer capabilities.
As of September 30, WisdomTree’s assets under management reached US$94 billion. (Blockworks)
