Crypto startup Bastion has received money transmitter licenses (MTLs) in the United States from the states of New Hampshire and Arkansas. The new license will enable Bastio to provide digital asset services in both states, including engaging in the sale or issuance of payment instruments, stored value, prepaid access, and receiving currency and digital currency-related activities. Bastion also said that it will continue to apply for MTL in other states in the United States.
According to previous news, encryption startup Bastion completed a US$25 million seed round of financing, led by a16z crypto, with participating investors including Nomura Group’s Laser Digital Ventures, Robot Ventures, Not Boring Capital, etc.
