MakerDAO has paid a total of US$1.5 million in stamp duty to Switzerland for its RWA assets. Stamp duty for offshore entities in Switzerland is 15 basis points, so a $500 million investment in MakerDAO incurred a stamp duty of $750,000, and when the assets were later sold, another $750,000 was paid.
