The post FTX Sues Bybit for $953 Million, Alleging Unauthorized Asset Withdrawal! appeared first on Coinpedia Fintech News
FTX is suing Bybit Fintech Ltd., seeking to recover digital assets and cash worth $953 million. The lawsuit alleges that Bybit’s investment arm, Mirana Corp., had exclusive privileges that allowed it to withdraw the majority of its assets from FTX just before the exchange filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in November 2022. FTX claims that Mirana pressured FTX employees to expedite its withdrawal requests while regular customers faced delays. The lawsuit identifies Bybit, Mirana, and a related entity called Time Research Ltd. as defendants. FTX is also working on reviving the exchange and has been selling its Solana tokens for cash.
