Crypto exchange Blockchain.com announced the completion of a US$110 million Series E financing led by Kingsway Capital

Crypto exchange Blockchain.com announced the completion of a US$110 million Series E round of financing, led by British investment management company Kingsway Capital, with participation from Baillie Gifford, Lakestar, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Coinbase Ventures. It is reported that the company was valued at US$14 billion after raising an undisclosed amount in a Series D financing round in March 2022. But in this E round, Blockchain.com’s valuation is less than half of the US$14 billion. Manny Stotz, founder and CEO of Kingsway Capital, and Nicolas Brand, partner at Lakestar, joined Blockchain.com’s board of directors following the funding round. As previously reported by Odaily, Kingsway Capital also led another undisclosed round of financing completed by Blockchain.com in the third quarter of last year.
