The U.S. trustee in the Celsius bankruptcy case has disputed claims by several parties that they made "significant contributions" to the bankruptcy proceedings of Celsius Network and its affiliates. According to the trustee, the claims made by the 11 administrative fee applicants based on their significant contributions to the case lacked merit. The claims mainly related to professional fees and expenses and were considered to be self-interested and inconsistent with the wider interests of the creditor group.
The applicants, made up of five task forces and six individual parties, jointly claim that their actions made a significant contribution to the bankruptcy proceedings and are seeking to recover approximately $5 million in costs, including professional fees. (CryptoSlate)
