The cross-chain interoperability protocol Nomad released a cross-chain bridge restart update, which is called support for restart and has made major changes to the code, including fixes for vulnerability exploits, patches for the bridge GUI, processing recovered funds, etc. The code will be released after the audit is completed. According to Nomad, it is not a simple process to bridge recovered funds back to madAssets. Users will follow the following process: 1. Bridge madAssets back to Ethereum to obtain an NFT, which explains the type and quantity of bridged assets. 2. Use an NFT (eg: 100 USDC) that NFT grants access to a portion of the asset equal to a percentage of the recovered asset. In addition, only users who are added to the whitelist can obtain recovered funds. The recovered funds will be calculated in tokens, and tokens returned in different forms will be released. Nomad will cooperate with blockchain forensics companies , to determine which tokens are affected.
