The Lastic team announced the first Coretime broker transaction (a transaction in which an intermediary or broker coordinates and facilitates between buyers and sellers) on the Kusama network.
On November 9, 2023, Lastic defeated Shiden (Astar) and Turing Network (OAK Network) in the Kusama Network’s parachain auction to win the parachain slot.
In the past week, after negotiations between Lastic and Shiden, Lastic agreed to transfer these leases to Shiden in exchange for KSM and Shiden Network Tokens (SDN). On November 17, the Shiden network officially received these leases on-chain, and Shiden now owns these leases, successfully extending its slot period on Kusama.
While Coretime is not yet deployed on Kusama, this transaction is a proof-of-concept using an existing parachain model. (PolkaWorld)
