Cryptocurrency market maker Wintermute stated on Twitter that the hacker's attack only affected the DeFi business, and other businesses were not affected. After the hacker attack yesterday, Wintermute suspended trading for a few hours due to risk management measures. CeFi and OTC transactions resumed. At present, Wintermute is still able to fulfill its settlement obligations in fiat currency or cryptocurrency, the liquidity service has returned to normal, the loans used to provide liquidity are not affected, and there are still enough funds to repay all loans. In addition, Wintermute also stated that the hack had nothing to do with the DeFi smart contract, nor did it affect any of Wintermute’s internal systems, and no third-party or Wintermute data was damaged.
