According to CoinDesk, Hyperlane, a cross-chain application building platform, completed $18.5 million in financing, led by Crypto Investor Variant, and participated by Galaxy Digital, CoinFund, Circle, Figment, Blockdaemon, Kraken Ventures and NFX. The round will be used for hiring, product development and security, which includes bug bounties and additional audits. Hyperlane, co-founded by Celo's first engineers Asa Oines and Nam Chu Hoai, and Kol, who previously co-led Galaxy Ventures, aims to provide developers with a messaging API and SDK to easily build applications accessible from any blockchain .
