Officially, the American Cancer Society (ACS) has branched out into Web3 to explore alternative forms of capital allocation, choosing Gitcoin Grants Stack as its toolkit of choice. This is the second time Gitcoin technology has been used by a high-profile nonprofit, the first being in 2022 on a powerful QF collaboration pilot project with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
It is reported that Gitcoin is a member of OKX Ventures’ investment portfolio, focusing on public goods funding and developer community support.
