Sandeep added that this includes every DEX, every lending market, every perpetual contract exchange, and every other Dapp. If the problem of cross-chain composability can be solved, these Dapps will choose to launch their own chains today, because no Dapp is willing to experience the fluctuation of gas fees in a shared public blockchain. This is the case with Web2 today, where every large enough application has its own dedicated server.
Sandeep finally said that what needs to be solved now is the cross-chain compatibility problem, and most other problems can basically be solved through ZK Layer2. Polygon is now leveraging Polygon2.0’s aggregation layer to solve cross-chain composability issues, which will work with Polygon CDK to build Internet 3.0.
