SentinelOne: Recent North Korean Hackers Attacked macOS Users With Fake Crypto.com Job Postings

According to Finbold, the security agency SentinelOne stated that North Korean hackers have recently launched attacks on macOS users with fake Crypto.com recruitment information. Hackers disguised malware as recruitment information PDF files and sent them to users who hope to apply for jobs in the cryptocurrency field to achieve the purpose of the attack. SentinelOne said it's unclear how the malware spread, but the attackers used LinkedIn messages to lure victims early on. Foresight News previously reported that people familiar with the attack said that hackers who attacked Ronin Network contacted Sky Mavis employees through LinkedIn and offered them new job opportunities. The hackers planted viruses in the offer sent to the engineer and took control of Ronin Network 9 4 of the nodes.
