According to official news, Klaytn V1.12.0 has been released. This version includes two different hard forks. The first is the functional equivalent of the Ethereum Cancun (Cancun) hard fork, and the second is an optional hard fork. Forks can achieve randomness on the Randao chain. The hard fork will be carried out on the Baobab test network with a block height of 135456000 and is expected to occur at 9 am on December 19.
It is important to note that this release contains a hard fork upgrade that results in backward-incompatible changes. All Baobab nodes must be upgraded to V1.12.0 or higher before the target block height. The Cypress mainnet hard fork block height will be determined in the next version.
