According to Foresight News, Hong Kong's annual AIA Carnival has partnered with Animoca Brands subsidiary The Sandbox to integrate real-life (IRL) and virtual experiences. The AIA Carnival will collaborate with The Sandbox and metaverse studio Index Game to launch interactive games within The Sandbox metaverse, incorporating iconic Hong Kong elements.
Additionally, this year's Hong Kong AIA Carnival has partnered with crypto payment solution hi, allowing visitors to use The Sandbox's native token SAND for the first time to purchase items such as popcorn and drinks at the event.
