Astria launches Astria EVM on Dusknet-2 network

Astria announced the availability of Astria EVM on its Devnet Dusknet-2. Astria EVM is an EVM Rollup powered by a shared sequencer network, using Celestia for DA, and achieving a fast, censorship-resistant block production process through the shared sequencer network. Previously, Astria announced on the X platform that it has completed the network reconstruction from Devnet to Dusknet-2. Astria Dusknet marks that developers can deploy Rollup to remote shared sequencer networks without permission. Operating as a network with multiple block-generating sequencer nodes, Dusknet-2 is an important technical step towards enabling Astria’s upcoming decentralized testnet, which will be run by multiple external validators. Astria plans to launch its shared sequencer network testnet in the first quarter of 2024.
